What XLS Padlock looks like
end to end.

11 screenshots covering the Excel ribbon, the manager, formula and VBA protection, licensing dialogs, and the Setup installer wizard. Click any image for a closer look.

Interface and ribbon

XLS Padlock plugs into Excel through a dedicated ribbon, plus a standalone manager for compilation, licensing, and packaging.

Security options

Per-workbook security controls: encryption, restrictions, runtime checks, and an EULA dialog presented to your end user.

Walkthrough of the security panel: encryption, anti-debug, save behavior, copy restrictions.
End-user license agreement shown the first time the compiled workbook runs.

Formula protection

Mark formulas as protected, encrypt them at compile time, and have them resolved by the EXE runtime. The formula bar shows opaque calls; cell values still compute.

Formula manager: review and toggle which formulas get encrypted at compile time.
Right-click any cell with a formula to add it to the protected set without leaving Excel.

VBA Compiler

Compile VBA macros to secure bytecode and remove the source from the shipped EXE. The Visual Basic Editor cannot reveal what is inside.

The VBA Compiler: paste the subs to protect, then click Compile Code.
Lock the VBA project so the editor stays inaccessible inside the compiled application.

Licensing and activation

Issue activation keys, run trials, and validate against your own server. Optionally hardware-locked, time-limited, or run-count limited.

Activation key configuration: trial window, hardware locking, run-count limit, online validation.
End-user view: enter the activation key once, the EXE talks to your server, then runs.

Build and distribution

Wrap the compiled workbook into a Setup installer powered by Paquet Builder. Optionally code-signed, ready to ship.
