System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows® 11, 10, 8.1, 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP SP3, Server 2008, Server 2003, or higher.
- Microsoft Excel® 2024, 2021, 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007 SP3, 2003, 2002 or Microsoft 365 with Excel (or Office 365). Ensure you have the latest SPs (Service Pack), updates, hotfixes installed.
- 256 MB RAM (Recommended: 512 MB RAM or greater).
- Hard Disk: about 100 MB free space. More will be required for protecting workbooks.
Note: compiling 64-bit EXE files can only be done on Windows 64-bit editions. Learn more about compiling workbooks as EXE files for any Excel bitness.
The installer of XLS Padlock uses Windows Installer (MSI) to perform safe modifications to your computer’s configuration.
The installer was made with Paquet Builder and WiX.
Repair and remove XLS Padlock
You can repair a damaged feature (for example, if you have accidentally deleted a vital file) or simply uninstall XLS Padlock from your system.
To uninstall XLS Padlock, make sure Excel is closed. Then select the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Windows Control Panel, highlight XLS Padlock and click Remove.
To repair XLS Padlock (or even uninstall it), launch the xlspadlocksetupNN.exe setup file; the Setup Wizard will automatically enter in the maintenance mode: select the action you would like to perform.
Files are digitally signed (with Microsoft Authenticode) to authenticate our company (G.D.G. Software SAS) as well as to ensure that the code has not been altered. Please verify the publisher to ensure you have downloaded genuine software.

Evaluation: Free Trial Edition
When you install XLS Padlock without activation, it will work in a state called Trial edition. It is a free and full-featured trial: this means that the same capabilities available in the registered software are present in this Trial edition. This lets you try out all the features of XLS Padlock for free: you can, therefore, see if it works for you, as long as you want.
There are some limitations however: though the Trial edition does not expire itself, secure applications made with the Trial edition will expire some days after their build. They will also display a reminder (nag screen) at startup. Finally, you are not allowed to distribute applications made with the Trial edition.
Looking for older versions or registered downloads such as the WooCommerce Integration Kit or Subscription Kit? They are available for registered users. You can always download and activate old versions, even if your maintenance has expired.
